This one is one of my favorites. It really can be used in both a home setting and a church setting telling kids about the real meaning of love and what Jesus has done for them.

• The past few weeks have been filled with moving from Georgia to Ohio.
• Orientation at my new job.
• Fighting a sickness that won’t seem to go away. 

That being said:

Volume #2 “Bed Head Fred discovers what love is”  is set to be available Tuesday,  March 20th ( the first day of Spring )

This is a really great book that not only can be read at home but can be used in Children’s ministries as well. Looking forward to making it available to all on Amazon.com

Just wanted to give an update for “Bed Head Fred discovers what love is” 

• Writing is complete! This has to be one of my favorites. Bead Head Fred gets out of bed and goes to church, where he discovers a TRUE love through what Jesus did for him on the cross. 
• Illustrations almost complete. I have been juggling a lot of traveling back and forth from Ohio to Georgia. It should be complete and ready to purchase next week.
• I am excited to release the name of Volume #3 ” Bed Head Fred discovers _______ ” this is going to be a fun one. Guess you will have to wait to see…

I am getting great feedback from (Volume 1) Bed Head Fred discovers courage. It is available only in Amazon Kindle form now, but soon to be in many more down-loadable versions and in print form. 

Volume 2 due out at the end of this month is called Bed Head fred discovers what love is.  I am almost done with the writing and will have my editor look over and make sure things look good. The illustrating begins Monday!  

The cool thing about this book is that many churches will even be able to use it as a tool to tell kids about Jesus, that pumps me up!

Yesterday I released “Bed Head Fred discovers courage” on Amazon.com and have had great feedback from both parents and kids alike.  These 30 day challenges have been exciting but hard.

I am looking forward to starting February’s challenge:

“Bed Head Fred discovers what love is”

It begins today and looking forward to this one, not only will it be a great book but I am hoping to be able to create a good tool to show kid’s what Jesus has done for them.

“Bed Head Fred discovers courage” is 98% complete. It has been written and the illustrations are done, all that is left is to finish compiling all the stuff together and uploading to Amazon.com.  This week has been my moving week and so I am a few days behind my goal date but I am hoping to have this available to download by this weekend. 

My first 30 day challenge is going as planned. “Bed Head Fred discovers courage” will be released on Amazon.com on Day 30. Then it’s off to start the next 30 day challenge, “Bed Head Fred discovers…” Anyways, I told you I would keep you updated, so as of today…

• first 3 pages written / so excited about this can’t wait to see it all come together.

- Brainstorming and Research for project #1 is complete

- Mapped out theme and page layout complete

- Cover Design complete!

Beginning January 1, 2012 I will begin to write and illustrate a series of children’s books based on the character “Bed Head Fred”. Each book will take 30 days from start to finish. You will be able to follow along with me as I blog about the progress and give you sneak peeks into this fun new challenge. I’m excited about this challenge that will stretch me and push me to do something that I have never done before.
